Job Description
What is the focus of the role?
The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team responsible for both design and integration of project works as well as support of all broadcast and IT based systems.
What you’ll do
  • Provide on-site shift based support to the Broadcast Operations Centre and customer sites; including legacy broadcast systems (vision switching, newsroom automation, radio) and broadcast IT systems,
  • Maintain a technical knowledge of the MediaCloud platform, including an understanding of business usage, and contribute significantly to the development of maintenance standards and documentation.
  • Utilise an understanding of IP networking fundamentals to devise solutions for client facing projects.
  • Supporting a range of network devices using diverse operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and appliance based devices.
  • Working regular weekend and public holiday shifts will be an expected part of this role.
What you’ll have
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Demonstrated scripting capabilities (PowerShell/Python)
  • Highly advanced interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Broadcast equipment maintenance and repair experience highly regarded.
  • Experience in server side computer management (Windows Server implementation).
  • Fundamental understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure) and virtualisation.
